Real Wedding ~ A Rustic Wedding In The Cotswolds
We love it when couples share their wedding photos with us. Lindsay from My Mummys Yummy Cupcakes sent me the link to her wedding photos last week and we love her style! Browse the photos for rustic wedding ideas…

They chose the stunning Dumbleton Hall in the Cotswolds as their venue, it was a truly rustic wedding with hay bales in the marquee, loads of personal details and beautiful country flowers put together by her Mum. Button holes and bouquets were tied with rustic twine, as a special touch Lindsay had her Granny’s Cameo brooch on her bouquet.
Love this shot, a real confetti moment. Gorgeous Summer Mix delphinium petal confetti.
The marquee looks stunning, with pastel coloured paper pom poms hanging from the ceiling, paper bunting, wicker hearts and hay bales as seating, perfect for this rustic style wedding.
Lindsay did all her cakes and treats for her dessert table. I love her cake! Lovely detailing with wooden buttons, lace and Mr and Mrs flags made from our paper tape. Learn how to make Mr and Mrs flags here. The cake was placed on top of Lindsay’s Grandad’s box, something he made as a teenager and she used to keep her bits and bobs in as a child.
This wedding had some lovely personal touches as well as a lot of DIY aspects, we love hearing from our couples when we inspire them to create weddings. If you have any photos from your big day we’d love to see them.
