Last week The Wedding of my Dreams were at The National Wedding Show. We helped out our sister company Passion for Flowers on their exhibition stand at the Birmingham show. Here are just a few photos of our stand at The National Wedding Show – beautiful flowers by Passion for Flowers and of course lots of details and wedding decorations available here at The Wedding of mu Dreams.
Rustic Chic Wedding Table at The National Wedding Show
To create our rustic chic table we used a stone and metal urns as the centrepieces, these had stunning arrangements by Passion for Flowers. These were all set out on a plank of wood running down the centre of the table to add to the rustic feel. Our bark tea light holders we used as tiny vases and tea light holders spread along the table. The scented candles in flowerpots were admired by almost everyone who walked by, the scent was amazing. The place settings were set on slate tiles, these were old roof tiles we had collected. The napkin was tied in hessian and lace with a small bunch of rosemary and a vintage pink rose. The wedding favours were succulents in glass jars, with personalised ‘let the love grow’ stickers on them. (Keep an eye out as these will soon be available to buy online from our site). Each place setting also had an advice for the bride and groom card for guests to fill in as an alternative wedding guest book and a bud vase name card holder. The chair backs were floral garlands, these would look fab on the bride and groom’s chair. Above the rustic table we hung vintage dusky pink roses on invisible wire. Passion for Flowers would usually hang these from trees at outdoor weddings or within the venue at key areas. The bouquet displayed on this table used the same mix of flowers as the urns, the bouquet wrap was made from our hessian and was finished off with an antique style key.
American Style Wedding Post Box
We used our American vintage inspired mail box to hold all our brochures and leaflets.
Vintage Glamour Wedding Table at The National Wedding Show
Our vintage glamour table was a strong contrast to our rustic chic table. We used light and airy colours and flowers. David Austin Roses mixed with fountain grass and daisies created a summer time feel. Down the centre of the table we used Passion for Flowers collection of vintage crystal glass decanters, cake plates and vases – these have been found from various charity shops. Within the mix we also used our dainty mercury silver vases, ribbed tea light holders and mercury silver candle sticks.
The place settings were and elegant crystal bowl with a Juliet David Austin Rose, our fork place card holders tied in well with the look.
Another floral chair back on this table, this time with David Austin Roses, it really did look beautiful. The hessian chair back was made from our hessian.
Extra Wedding Decorations & Details
Along the back wall we used Passion for Flowers collection of apothecary bottles as escort cards, each bottle had a single stem and a luggage tag around the neck with the guests name and table number on.
Hanging against the back wall were two flower wreaths, these would usually be hung on a gate at the entrance to a church or on a door. Our sprinkle me and throw me confetti bags were filled with ivory confetti petals and displayed in a basket on the crates that created our back wall. We used this area to display Passion for Flowers button holes, bouquets and flower crowns / flower circlets.
Stone Urns at the Wedding Theatre
Passion for Flowers were asked to decorate the wedding theatre with their stone urns, they were relaxed arrangements using green and white. Thanks for visiting us at The National Wedding Show, and if you missed us we hope we inspired you with our photos.
