The Moat House Dorsington Wedding Shoot with Props from The Wedding of my Dreams
Earlier in the Spring our sister company Passion for Flowers were involved in styling a brand new barn venue. The Moat House Dorsington is a lovely exclusive use barn venue near Stratford Upon Avon, Passion for Flowers along with a team of talented wedding suppliers transformed the venue for their launch shoot.
Passion for Flowers used a number of props from The Wedding of my Dreams’ collection – we thought you’d like to see how they used them. See the full shoot over on the Passion for Flowers blog (Ceremony Shoot / Rustic Spring Reception)
Wedding Ceremony Decorations The Moat House Dorsington
The wedding ceremony room at the Moat House is a stunning glass room overlooking the garden. For the aisle decorations our grey willow hearts were strung with hessian and hung as a chair back on all chairs running either side of the aisle. This lead down to the ceremony table which had spring white ranunculus in our organic green bottles. On the bride and grooms’ chair backs hung our Mr and Mrs wooden signs.
For the petal confetti, our throw me and sprinkle me cotton bags were presented in a wicker basket for guests to help themselves from.
Rustic Reception Decorations The Moat House Dorsington
Passion for Flowers did an amazing job of creating a rustic spring look for the reception. They used wonderful white spring flowers including ranuculus, narcissi, hyacinths and tulips in a mix of rustic vases and containers running along the long guest tables. Our hessian table runners ran the length of the long tables, with a mix of large and medium bark containers, bark tea light holders used as vases amongst various tea light holders and bottles. Vintage books were used to add height to the table displays. We love how they used our rustic footed urns, they look stunning with white and green florals.
Our just married hessian bunting looked just perfect hanging from the wooden beams on the gallery.
This can be displayed at key areas around your venue, on the top table, near your guest book or on window sills.
Our natural tree slices have many uses at weddings, this rustic button hole with ranunculus, feathers and nigella seed heads suited being placed on our rustic tree slice, an idea is to ask your florist to present your button holes on a tree slice for that extra rustic touch.
Hessian table runners ran the length of the long guest tables, if you are trying to work out how many table runners you will need for your tables make sure you taking into account not only the length of the table but also the height as it looks best when the hessian reaches the floor at either end of the table.
Passion for Flowers used our bark containers, bud vases and tea light holders as well as large footed urns for their floral displays.
Our hessian Mr and Mrs bunting chair backs looked perfect on the benchwood chairs.
