Chalkboard wine bottle table numbers

What a fab idea. Use chalkboard wine bottles for your table numbers. This is so easy to do yourself. Buy a can of chalkboard spray paint to cover the bottles in a blackboard finish. You can then write on them with a piece of chalk or chalk pen, write your table numbers or table names. Add water to the wine bottle and place a pretty flower inside. You don’t have to use wine bottles, for something more unusual scour reclamation yards and charity shops for more different shaped vases and spray them instead.

Rustic Winter Woodland Wedding Decorations

Are you getting married in the winter? Have you chosen what style of winter wedding you are going for? Today we are looking at rustic winter woodland wedding ideas and decorations. This winter look is not at all Christmas inspired, so if perfect if you are getting married in the winter months or run p to Christmas but don’t want a Christmas inspired wedding.

We styled this table for a rustic winter woodland wedding, scroll down to see all the decorations and details we suggest.

WINTER WOODLAND WEDDING STYLING

For winter woodland centrepieces, wooden crates or reclaimed wooden boxes can work well. Stick to soft grey and green tones for the florals with a highlight of white. Here we have used white ranunculus and wax flower with grey dusty miller, brunia, fir cones and spruce. Natural looking place card holders made from tree branches and for the favours boxes cream boxes with a decoration of spruce and brunia to the lid.

If you are lucky enough to have wooden tables at your wedding venue a light muslin table runner can look lovely laid down the centre of the table. Lay moss, cinnamon and pine cones over the table for a woodland winter look. Tiny white bud vases can be dotted around the main centrepiece for extra florals and our chalky glass tea light holders tie in with this look too, on the table brown card table numbers work well with this look to show guests which table is which. rustic winter woodland wedding table decorations

As an alternative table number you could use wooden disc table numbers. For each guests’ place setting, plates could be laid on a wooden tree slice as a place mat, this will look stunning on the tables are really create a woodland feel. Favours could be mini bottles of slow gin or something sweet in a hessian favour bag. rustic winter woodland wedding table decorations

Rustic Barn Wedding Decorations: Bright Colourful Same Sex Wedding – Real Wedding

We love it when our couples send us their wedding photos, each and every one of our customers will use our decorations in their own individual way to create a wedding that is tailored to them and Anita and Claudia did just that.

Anita and Claudia were married at The Ferry House Inn in Kent. They wanted a wedding that reflected them both so that meant lots of colour, lots of personal touches and everything being vegan. If you are planning a wedding in a barn or with lots of bright colours browse through their photos to see how they used our rustic barn wedding decorations, don’t forget to pin your favourites!

Anita and Claudia’s wedding has recently been featured on Rock N Roll Bride, so pop over to see more photos from their wedding.

All photography by Kerry Ann Duffy.

Anita is Italian, and Claudia is Swiss-German, so everything (invites, menus, wedding website etc) was written in three different languages. They used our blackboard arrow signs to show guests where to sit for the wedding ceremony.

For their wedding favours Claudia and Anita chose our ‘Let The Love Grow’ wedding favour envelopes which were filled with seeds for their guests to plant. The envelopes and stickers are personalised with the name of the couple and wedding date.  let the love grown personalised seed packet wedding favours - rustic barn wedding decorations - same sex wedding

The centrepieces were bright rustic flowers in a simple mason jar sitting on a rustic tree slice. We think these look fab in the barn setting. Tree slice wedding centrepieces -rustic barn wedding decorations (1)

For the table numbers Anita and Claudia stuck our personalised table number stickers to their wine bottles. These were personalised with the name of the couple and wedding date. Don’t they look amazing next to those wonderfully bright flowers. rustic table number stickers for wine bottle persolasied with name of couple - rustic barn wedding decorations Tree slice wedding centrepieces -rustic barn wedding decorations (2) same sex wedding bright colourful rustic barn wedding decorations and ideas (2)

I love the use of our ‘Mrs’ chalkboard signs as wedding chair backs too. same sex wedding chalkboard mrs & mrs signs - rustic barn wedding decorations

For the table plan Anita and Claudia chose to use our birdcage table plan with luggage tags, and alphabet stamps to add that personal touch.
