Why we started?
Karen has had a successful wedding floral design company ‘Passion for Flowers’ since 2003. As Passion for Flowers began to develop and become more and more successful we found ourselves meeting with brides on a very regular basis and one of the common things they were asking was how could they make their wedding unique and personal? Where could they buy little extra wedding table decorations to make their day feel different from everyone else’s?”
What inspired us?
We were inspired by our own brides, we started offering some unique extras including petal confetti, bridal brooches, table plan ideas as well as a range of do it yourself workshops, through Passion for Flowers. All of these were really well received by our brides and they were asking for more of the same, especially unique wedding table decorations. So we decided to launch The Wedding of my Dreams in July 2010!
