This week our wedding decorations of the week are our quilted copper tea light holders. We are seeing copper decorations becoming more and more popular in weddings at the moment and it’s a colour that’s set to stay on trend throughout 2017. These copper tea lights / votives are great for adding a highlight of copper to your wedding tables. Once the candle is lit they have a warm copper glow to them.
This week our wedding decorations of the week are our white and gold hanging vases for weddings. These hanging vases can look so lovely hanging in groupings at your wedding venue. If you have beams or poles in place at your venue or in your marquee these will be easy to hang. Alternatively hang these vases outside, from archways and pergolas in the garden or from branches of trees.
The vases could be used for flowers or tea lights. If you don’t want to hang the vases they also look great sat on tables. Whether you use them as part of your wedding centrepiece with the large matching white and gold vases or they could be used as accent decorations on your guest table, gift table or in the bar.
This week our wedding decorations of the week are our elegant gold and pressed glass candlesticks. These beautiful candlesticks can be teamed up with golds and other metallic shades as well as glass and textured glass decorations. The pale antique gold colour mixes beautifully with the clear pressed glass to create a really glamorous candlestick. The candlesticks would look stunning at your wedding and can of course be used in your home after the big day. They look perfect set along top tables, fireplaces, cake tables, in churches and ceremony rooms as well as forming part of your centrepieces.
These candlesticks would also make a lovely gift for the bride and groom, or special gift for bridesmaids or family members.
Our new winter woodland wedding collection has been a popular choice for couples getting married this winter. If you are planning a wedding during the winter and want a rustic feel to the day use our inspiration board to take some ideas for your own wedding.
We have been pinning our lots winter woodland wedding decorations and ideas and have created an inspiration board of our favourites. To create a woodland feel at your wedding use natural materials, tree slices for centrepieces, tree stumps with candles to line the aisle for a warm and cosy feel. You could make your own woodland candle holders with bark sheets and a mason jar (see our how to guide here). Centrepieces could be crates filled with winter florals, for a winter woodland style we love mixing the green tones of moss and fir with grey brunia and dusty miller as well as a touch of white with roses, cotton or ranunculus. Guests could be given blankets as favours and for the place settings we love the idea of a luggage tag with the guests name tied to a sprig of fir tree or spruce.
