Elegant Wedding Drinks Stations with Gold Candelabra
Drinks tables are often styled in a quirky, bright or rustic setting, we love the elegant feel to this set up. The drinks dispensers are positioned at different heights on the table to add interest and gold vases and gold candelabra are used to create an elegant setting. Pretty votives and flowers complete the look. Photography by Marie Marry Me.
Are you hoping to set up a drinks station at your wedding? Wondering what exactly you need to make it happen, we have created a checklist showing what you will need. If you are just in the early planning stages of your wedding this is the perfect opportunity to pin it now, read it later!
First things first, choose a location
Outside – make sure it’s in the shade.
Inside – choose somewhere easy for your guests to access.
Set up a table – either take a vintage dresser to your venue or use one of their tables.
You will need to supply guests with glasses to drink from, these could be supplied by your venue or caterers or you could opt for something a little different and use mason jars or bottles for your drinks.
Are you offering your guests a glass of prosecco as a welcome drink? How about installing a ‘Pimp Your Prosecco’ bar at your wedding? Here at The Wedding of my Dreams we love this idea, it’s so easy too. Set up a table at your venue with various fruits and juices for your guests to add to their processo if they wish, create a sign so they know what to do and there you have it. You could create your own sign on hessian or use one of our chalkboards. If you like this idea pin the images below so you don’t forget about it.
This week we have been pinning our favourite wedding drinks ideas, whether you are choosing to have the bride and groom’s signature cocktails available at your wedding bar, drinks served in milk bottles or mason jars or perhaps you are setting up a drinks station, I’m sure you will find some ideas on our wedding drinks pinterest board.
For an easy and simple look add striped paper straws to your guests’ glasses, you could even add paper flags to the straws with names on. If there is space at your venue we love the idea of setting up a drinks station, use wooden crates or an old dresser and fill with lemonade and cocktails in drinks dispensers and jugs of various sizes so guests can refill their glasses.
